Winemaking Process
100% Tempranillo grapes from vines over 50 years old in unirrigated vineyards. Fermentation in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks. Vatting lasts aproximately 11-15 days, during which time the leers are pumped over the cap on a daily basis to bring the must into contact with the grape skins and so that the wine begins to define its own personality. Devatting is performed at just the right moment in order to obtain a balanced wine that ages well. Bodegas Arabarte produces reserve wines with only the best vintages and selects the best musts for this outstanding wine.
The wine is aged 24 months in American and French oak casks and refined for a minimum of 12 months in the bottle.
Tasting Note
It presents an intense aroma of ripe fruit, well combined with touches of roasted wood and spicy, with nuances of vanilla due to the ageing process in French and American oak. Ample and balanced in the mouth, with a perfect harmony between subtle tannins and a pleasant acidity. Tasty and full-bodied, maintaining its fine and elegant quality.
Pairing
